C25K 

REGISTRATIONS CLOSED!!! Starting September 15, RGI Bangalore will be organizing regular Couch to 5K (aka C25K) Courses for women who want to start running. 

About this Course

The C25K Course is designed to get just about any woman from the couch to running 5 kilometers in just 9 weeks. This beginner's program consists of 3 weekly sessions of about 30 minutes each. Each session will include a warm-up, the actual raining section, followed by a cool-down & stretching. Registrations have been closed. 

Course fee: Rs 900 per person. Participants: 5-10.

Course Dates & Timing

We are planning to start our first C25K from 15th September, 2008. The course will run for 9 weeks with training sessions on Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays from 6.30 am.

Course Venue 

Cubbon Park (near Queens Statue/opp. JDP), Bangalore

What Should I Wear?

  • A good pair of running shoes. Have your feet analyzed by a running shoe specialist (contact: Dr. Rajat Chauhan on 99456 95732) and purchase a pair of shoes specifically designed for running and your gait (vs. fashion). 
  • A good support bra.
  • Comfortable, lightweight clothing designed to absorb moisture from your skin.
